Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton’s Megafight would be on in the next 40 days and counting. Everyone knows that the fight is sizzling hot, so hot that even Local TV Stations and Sports channels here in the Philippines are having their own match for the TV rights of which TV Channel (GMA, ABS CBN, Solar Sports) would air the Pacquiao VS Hatton Fight on May 2 at Thomas and Mack Center.

They are clobbering at each other and looking for each others mistakes and pointing at each other on which channel have the most obvious shortcomings. Its like 3 kids quarreling at each other for a piece of lollipops. What  bunch of children!

Obviously, I can sense that a TV Station would repeat the same rudeness that the other channel did last time Manny Pacquiao had a fight against the Golden Boy Oscar Dela Hoya. One channel would report the result of the match, hours earlier before the designated TV Station could air the delayed telecast of the fight.

There is no point in this fight, its all money matters and viewership war. I mean, this is not new anymore.

But I must say a good job for Manny Pacquiao, for ringing the bell and starting this brawl all over. I can sure guarantee you, he would not care to intervene with this controversy, ever. He’d just hand them the guns, stand back and watch them kill each other.

But the viewers would take this seriously, because they would want to know who would really air the fight of Pacquiao vs Hatton fight on May 2 since they would want to watch the fight.

Basically this brawl over TV Rights is just an appetizer for the Pacquiao Hatton fight.

But, if you really wanted to watch the fight, why depend on those TV stations, I mean, they telecast hours after the fight right? Plus the fight would sure be plastered with too much advertisements. So much advertisements that your TV screen would be literally flooded with ads therefore distracting your viewing pleasure.
