The Sony Vaio Dilemma

We know many are aiming for the Sony Vaio laptop that is being given away by Nuffnang Philippines but in order to be qualified, one must make a blog post about their experience last December 5-7 regarding the Sony Expo 2008 event.
But because of the glamorous prize, the contest was prone to abuse. A fellow blogger was also aware of this.
Actually the original deadline of the contest was last December 15, 2008, I was planning to post my entry around a day before the contest, but days before the deadline, Nuffnang moved the deadline to December 19, 2008. Buti na lang at hindi ko pa naipost yung entry ko since I know that there are a few “hoppers” out there who are trying to get an idea on other entries to gain an advantage.
So my plan was again moved to December 18, 2008, a day before the said deadline, so if you would look at my “A Day at the Sony Expo 2008” entry it was dated December 18, but to my surprise, after I posted it, the deadline was again moved to December 22, 2008.
Now this time, I knew that my entry, along with other bloggers who have also posted their entry just before the deadline are already vulnerable to hoppers.
I did not even tried to post my entry for the contest sa nuffnang blog, basta lang update lang ang tinitignan ko kung anu na ang pinaguusapan.
The announcement was supposed to be last December 23, 2008, but to my surprise, the announcement was moved to January 9, 2009.
Whoa panu na ito, ang dami dami na tumatako sa isip ko including other bloggers, kasi hindi clear, what about yung mga magrerevise ng entries nila panu yun, pati yung sabi ni Ms. Lena na yung mga nagblog just because of the prize or what I call, fly-by-night bloggers? Yup kasali nga din sila kasi nga nagblog sila about the event eh.
Similar to what Earthlin G said, hindi rin naman ako payag na malalampaso kami ng fly by night bloggers. Id rather lose to a real blogger kesa matalo sa fly-by-night blogger.
I hope Nuffnang would make clear mechanics about these…

Haha, onga Emz, yung iba nga ang technique eh at the last minute saka lang magpopost ng entry para iwas na masilipan ng entry, sabay the next day sasabihin na extended pala, haha, edi sayang ang effort din haha!
Syempre, you deserve the mention, haha, commendable 3 ka eh hehe, tska isa ka sa mga considered ko na REAL entry, kasi yung iba nga they just blogged for the contest and hindi talaga sila nagbblog eh. So parang post and forget na sila..
Pero youve got a point, na ba yung mga magsend ng entries sa extension baka sila pa ang manalo, hay naku, magkakarambola ang mga bloggers nyan na talagang nag aim for the vaio, wahaha.

ako naman, ang beef ko sa nangyare na to is sana kung ie-extend nila di yung naghintay pa sila ng malapit na matapos ang dec 19 para i-announce di ba? nagmamadali tayong habulin yung dec 19 deadline tapos ang mananalo yung magsa-submit ng dec 22. hai naker. hehe!
pero tengkyu tengkyu sa special mention!!! aym very tats! in-add na rin pala kita sa stalk list ko. bisita ako ulit dito bukas! XD

nu ka ba iva okie lang yang, kahit naman di ka marunong sa avp may chance pa din naman eh, tska kokonti lang tayong sumali na mga bloggers eh sana naman lahat tau iconsider hehe very nice idea ito since kokonti lang tau na nagparticipate sa contest..

me naman, so thankful na naextend yung competition. la kasi talagang time, was even at a wedding nung deadline date. kaya sad na ko. .. buti naextend. sana manalo na lang tayo lahat, i mean, may something-something for everybody… alang alang sa holiday season.
