It’s so simple, you just have to head on over to the nearest SM Cinema or IMAX Theatres with your handy dandy camera, plus of course, your 4 other best pals.

So interested now huh? Here are the mechanics to make sure that you would be chosen as SM’s First Cinekada!

1. starting April 30 to June 30, Groups of 5 Barkadas can post their pictures in SM Cinema Facebook Account together with a write-up (not more than 200 words) on:

A) Why Do They Watch At SM Cinema?
B) Why SM Cinema Should Choose Them As The 1st Cinekada.

They have to be a fan of SM Cinema on Facebook before they could join. The Barkada can consist of 5 Male, 5 Female or Mixed. Ages 18-25.

2. Photos should be taken within the lobbies of SM Cinema or Imax Theaters.

3. SM Cinema will choose from the entries 20 Finalists which will be posted on SM Cinema Facebook Page by 1st week of June

4. SM Cinema Fans will have the privilege to vote for their favorite barkada from the Top 20 Finalists by “Liking” the photos that would be uploaded on the SM Cinema Facebook Page from June 7 – June 30. The Top 5 most Liked Barkada will join the Grand Finals on July 24, 2010. There will be 2 Finalists from NCR, 1 from Luzon, 1 from Visayas and 1 from Mindanao.

Announcement of the Top 5 Barkada would be on July 3, 2010.
