It was the exact date last year (December 2, 2007) when I was stunned with a question regarding this. I was taking the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam back then, I can still remember this somewhere around item number 60 to 70. The question could have been more easier if they have had left the obvious answer, but since I was gunning for my Nursing license then the questions on the exam should be tough. After reading the question, I did not care to look for the answer since I knew that it was an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but what the heck, when I tried to look at what letter it was located I was stunned. Using the process of elimination I was left with two choices, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). I am under time pressure then but with this two choices left, I wasted 5 minutes thinking if it was a trick question or a typographical error or whatnot. In the end I chose obsessive compulsive personality disorder. So did I get it right? Of all the things that I have stopped doing for a while, watching House MD series is one of them. The last episode that I have watched was around halfway of Season 3. My sister was just watching 3 Dads and 1 Mom, and I just happen to have a peek at what she was watching and in the show, I saw a man eating an milk ice cream. It thought it was just an ordinary ice cream. Then came a this lady, which is the "mother" in the show and she was being hysterical just because of that ice cream. I asked my sister what that ice cream is because the lady wouldn't be that mad if that ice cream is just an ordinary one. The my sister just told me that the ice cream was not meant to be an ice cream, and it was not meant for the man either, because it is for her baby. At first it was only milk, now everything tends to be exaggerated to what is happening. Left and right text messages informing everyone about the threat that melamine could be in any food that came from china and not just from the milk. Well over exaggeration is fine as long as were thinking about the safety of our health. The one thing that will suffer the most here are the vendors that were selling such products, and the people from binondo who were also selling these kinds of products that have milk ingredients in it. From candies, to chocolates, now tofu, soya and noodles are also the one of the suspected products to contain melamine.
