Nokia N900 Can Run On MeeGo OS

A few days after I have had my Nokia N900 which runs on Maemo OS, rumors have already been spreading like wildfire along on forums and blogs that the Nokia N900 as versatile as it is, can run on Meego OS.
But what is this MeeGo OS after all? Well, Meego is an Operating System by the joint effort of Nokia and Intel, and it is the Operating system that Nokia is planning to use on their future N Series smartphones right after the Symbian OS for the Nokia N8 which would be released this 2010…
In short MeeGo is Maemo on steroids and much more….
This means that its going to be a Goodye/Farewell for the Symbian OS on its domination on the N Series Phones by Nokia as they would start to adapt on the all new MeeGo OS in 2011 as Nokia would release the Nokia N9.

But as early as now, the Nokia N900 can prove that it can run the MeeGo OS, there have been videos of reviewers who did manage to install the Meego OS on their Maemo Powered Nokia N900..
But that does not mean Im going to jump on the bandwagon and start messing things up, after all MeeGo on Nokia N900 is still on its Pre-Alpha release which means a lot of things that you dont want to happen might happen once your run MeeGo on Nokia N900, but at least there is a big hint of potential for the Nokia N900 to run on MeeGo OS…
If you do have a brave heart and wants to test the waters earlier than others then you can download the MeeGo OS for Nokia N900 or if you want to play it safe then you can just watch videos of others on how they try to run the Meego OS on their Nokia N900.
