Its barely a week until the 2009 NBA Playoffs tips-off. The 2009 NBA Eastern Conference Division has already tallied up the 8 teams that would face off on the coming NBA Playoffs this April 18, 2009, but the NBA Western Conference Divison would not let themselves get left behind, they have also got their 8 Power teams which would try to match it up for the Western Division Championship and eventually for the NBA Finals Championship.

- Denver Nuggets
- San Antonio Spurs
- Houston Rockets
- Portland Trail Blazers
- New Orleans Hornets
- Dallas Mavericks
- Utah Jazz
Surprisingly though, the Phoenix Suns did not manage to make it to the 2009 NBA Playoffs. The would mean an early vacation for the Suns after being a contender for the NBA Western Conference Championship for years
