I just love Christmas and the smell of new gadgets and this time I got my new toy the Canon EOS 60D with 18-135mm kit lens. Now I can slash this one off my Christmas Gadget Wishlist. Now I can start learning some good photography skills and techniques which I have been contemplating to do since last year when the thought of getting a DSLR for myself came into mind.

This Canon EOS 60D has a 18 megapixel resolution and records HD videos at 720p (50 and 60 fps) and 1080p Full HD at 30fps, 25fps and 24fps)
The things that I liked about my Canon EOS 60D is the articulating screen, huge megapixel resolution and full HD video recording, something that Im going to use in the future when I get serious on going video blogging which is not really that farfetched now that I already have the Canon EOS 60D.

Now I think I’m having the GAS Syndrome or the Gear Acquisition Syndrome and contemplating on a lot of things that I can add on to my Canon EOS 60D, but of course its on the essential side as the ones that I want to acquire are something that I would definitely use like a good camera bag, a tripod, a 50mm lens and some few others.

The SRP of Canon EOS 60D 18-135 Kit at the time of this writing is at 75950.oo PHP but of course you can get it at a lower price somewhere else if you know where to look.

By the way, here are some of the first few shots that I made using my Canon EOS 60D.

Taken with Canon 60D f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm Canon EFS lens @ 135mm. f/5.6@1/125 Seconds @ 1250 ISO

Taken with Canon 60D and f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm Canon EFS lens @ 18mm. f/5.6@3.2 Seconds @ 1250iso

Taken with Canon 60D and f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm Canon EFS lens @ 18mm. f/3.5@25 Seconds @ 100iso

Taken with Canon 60D and f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm Canon EFS lens @ 52mm. f/5.6@1/13 Seconds @ 640 ISO

Taken with Canon 60D and f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm Canon EFS lens @ 106mm. f/5.6@1/200 Seconds @ 250 ISO
I may not have that superb shots, bear with me, Im still at the learning curve! But still I can consider this better than what my Nokia N900 camera can take, thanks to my new Canon EOS 60D.

Thanks! Onga eh mabigat nga medyo sa bulsa pero worth it naman, talagang mapapawow ka sa image quality niya plus add to that the Full HD Capability video it supports, future proofed na itong Canon 60D!
