I never knew that inFAMOUS would redefine what’s being called free roaming gaming, I mean, Grand Theft Auto has been known for this genre of a game, but inFamous somehow tweaked it.
I have been playing inFamous lately, though its a bit late since it was released last year, but heck I never knew that I would be hooked up on this game. The ratings on Gamespot, IGN and other gaming sites were true to what they say, this really has got one of the most stickiest game one would ever play.
Sticky, and I mean, there is no point in the game wherein you should say “alright Im gonna take a break from this point on…” plus GTA series fans would really be familiar with this type of free roaming genre of game, the only difference is that you cannot steal vehicles in here, but hey the trade off is that you can be able to climb buildings, poles, towers ala Alain Robert… hey can even Tommy Vercetti do that!?
Im not really a fan of first person gaming, nor the third person gaming specially if the camera is somehow clunky unlike God Of War series, since most often than not, I get quite dizzy from playing games such as those specially if you would be using the controllers instead of a mouse for aiming and whatnot.
But because of a good game such as InFamous, well, Id rather sacrifice a bit of my time even if I know Im going to get unwell after a few hours of playing it.
InFAMOUS is totally going to my Favorites lists of games.

The game makes me dizzy. Although, I would agree that the game is quite good. Also I like the graphics and the concept. Though, I was kind of wishing that the movies were actually movies in that they weren’t just still pictures changing as the narration was being said. If ever there will be a sequel, I hope they can do better than this one…
