How To Detect Invisible Users In Yahoo Messenger

When Yahoo Messenger officially released its 9.0 version (after the 9.0 beta), the interface has changed and updated a little bit. An example would be the interchangeable colors. Yahoo Messenger 9.0 has its pre – installed skins that can be used interchangeably to suit your needs and as to make the YM interface a new facelift.
Then there comes the large avatars of the users on your YM contact list. If you aren’t used to this, then you can still opt to use the compact list ( just go to contact > compact list ) and you’re good to go.
This time, YM stores the avatars that have been used by your contacts and displays them as faint / grey color in your list along with their avatar.
Since then, people in my list, even my relatives thought that these faint colored users are signed in, online, and are in invisible mode.
Wrong!
I told them that they were wrong, YM still reserves the privacy of those users who don’t want to be seen online. You can still see them because your computer just cached their avatars in your list, and that does not mean that whenever you see someone on your list with faint colors means that they were in invisible mode.
I told them that there are ways to see people who are invisible in your YM List. One way is to use 3rd party programs. I used to use those programs, but ever since, I now do respect the privacy of those people who do not want to be seen and only wants to be noticed if they wanted to.
So this is just a heads up for those who thought that YM now displays invisible users. Yahoo Messenger still works the same, only with upgraded and new features added.
If your Yahoo Messenger is not upgraded yet, then download the latest version at messenger.yahoo.com
And for the 3rd party program to see invisible users on Yahoo Messenger, there are many out there, but beware as most of these programs also do contain malicious files that can harm your computer.
I have my own program that I use CLICK HERE.
Please use it at your own risk. I am not liable for any damages and such that this program can do to your computer. This program works perfectly for my computer and I cannot say that it can work for yours as the same.
Happy User Hunting!

@Sarah,
It depends, if you are using the latest YM 9.0, then you are one of the many unfortunate ones who were having bad times about its bugs and problems, one good solution is to download the stable YM they have which is the YM 8.0

Hi there! Why is that even if I unchecked the “Allow websites to see me when I’m online” in my YM Preferences, a website (the one I use to detect who’s genuinely offline or just plain invisible) can still see me is I’m on invisible? How can I prevent that from happening? Thanks in advance
