Globe Wireless Broadband New IP Analyzed

Globe wireless broadband users have already noticed the introduction of newer IP addresses that came out recently, and it seems that the old IP addresses are now nowhere to be found.
It’s either Globe have updated their servers or they are just masking the IP address that we have in order to make it appear like new, but either of the reasons, it just brings the users back into the question “which IP address is stable and fast enough to be used?”
Back from the old IP addresses that Globe Wireless Broadband users have, we did “deciphered” the most stable connection among other IP addresses available for the Wireless Internet connection of broadband which is the 203.177.91.252.
This time around we were presented with newer IP addresses and thus giving us again the headache on which new IP address is good and which IP addresses are crap.
For the past week, I was able to acquire each of the new IP’s and was able to observe the speeds of the IP’s.
Take note though that these are by far my own observations, you might find this inaccurate from your location since the signal of Globe wireless is dependent on the strength of the 3G signal from place to place.
120.28.8.17 > Worst – old IP equivalent of 222.127.12.76
120.28.8.18 > Good – old IP equivalent of 203.177.57.170
120.28.8.19 > Best – old IP equivalent is 203.177.91.252
120.28.8.21 > Better – old IP equivalent of 203.177.91. 162 and 203.177.91.161
Those were my own observations. So how is the Globe wireless broadband experience in your place like?

so far since they made/fix those new ip’s , even my online gamings went smooth , just a little problem on the side … I cannot call my other bayantel fone since the first week of january when I reported it to them. Why dont you guys try calling a bayan tel # so you will find out if you have trhe same problems. Try this 391-7001 – 9 . if they stell that ” the # u have dialed is incorrect ” then you should ask for a rebate for an incomplete service .

tingin ko hindi naman talaga yan ang katumbas nea? kasi nung nakakuha ako ng IP na 120.28.8.19 eh ang bagal talaga. as in mabagal talaga sobra. nakakainis na nga eh. simula nung maglabasan yang mga new IP na yan like 120.28.8. blah blah blah. eh nagsimula na bumagal ng sobra ang net ko. ok naman ang speed ng net ko nung indi pa yan naglalabasan. ok na ok pa nga eh. tapos nung naglabasan na yan mga new IP na yan eh, di na ako makaconnect sa net kapag naka Manual DNS ako. pero kapag naka AUTO DNS naman nakakaconnect ako kaso SOBRANG BAGAL! nakakainis talaga. kayo ba? nakaka connect ba kayo kahit naka MANUAL DNS keo? kung oo, anuh DNS ang gamit neo? baka pede naman po pahelp aq. answer pls..

sir james eto IP ko oh 120.28.8.27 wala po ata dun sa mga nakapost. na gamit nio na po ba to?..

Hi to all!! reagrding nga pla sa new ip address ang gamit ko ngaun is 120.28.8.25.. yung speed namin ngaun is nasa 200kbps lng so ibig sabihin 40% lng ng speed yung nakukuha ko!! hay badtrip tlga..kayo ba nasa ano yung speed nyo nagun?

ask ko lng kung pano i seset ung isang ip lng and saan ilalagay un pati na rin ung dns… tnx..

hi…kaya pla napinsin ko bumibilis connection ko everytime na mka recieve ako na ip from 192.28.8.17 – 192.28.8.19..bumibilis tlga connection ko naabot ko ung 512kps na plan minsan usually 200+kps …kya lang bumabalik sya minsan sa random ip e everytime na madisconnect ako nasa 20 to 30 kbps na lang nakukuha ko pero ni nirereset ko na lang modem ko pra matsambahan ulit ung mabilis na ip na 17-19 ung last….meron bang way pra maka stay lang ako sa isang ip kahit na madisconnect ako..email me kung meron kayong alam..thx..james0982000@yahoo.com
