After a month, I have noticed quite a large decline on the profit that I get through my blogs. I used to average around 2 – 3 dollars a day but now its barely around $1 a day, but still a dollar is a dollar.

I am happy still since I have already reached my target of $100 in around 4-5 months, which is a very good sign, since I was expecting to hit that mark for around 6-12 months.

Still the question is, would bloggers get affected with the recession that the world is experiencing right now?

Big names and big companies have already fallen apart and crumbled down. Hundreds of thousands are expected to get sacked and some would stay jobless, but are bloggers affected with this kind of crisis?

I dont think so, as long as there is internet, there would be internet users, and as long as internet users are there then profits would not decline to say the least. As long as you can see that you are building traffic week by week, month by month, then you’d be safe.

I am just a little bit concerned with the decline of PPC rates on my blogs, its been fluctuating from time to time. For example sometimes I get 4 clicks on my adsense ads that costs around more than a dollar, and sometimes it would take at least 20 clicks for me to hit the 1 dollar mark.

So my answer to the question: Does Economic Recession Affect Your Blogging Profits Yet? My answer would be hmm, maybe. Its too early for me to answer that since its just barely the end of the month, maybe after 6 months more or so, I would be able to predict wether blogging would still be profitable specially for the starters.
