4 Months, 5 Floors. This is the look of the currently on-the-process abode of my family. Started building since June 2008, this is what our open backyard turned out to be. Yup! It is right at the back of our current house. A few months more and this sturdy fortress would become a fully built house.
Why fortress? Well it’s because most of the materials used here are made of pure concrete. No wooden walls or whatnot. Uncle/Lolo “jogging” Brig. General Diaz once said “hindi lang basta bahay ito ah, fortress na ito, pang 100 years na ito ha”
Yup, true indeed. It looks much of skeleton as of now, but after a few more months, a newly built building will rise there, actually it has already risen, still this is a hint of what’s to come.
Currently our on-the-process house stands tall , second tallest on our area. Just second to the tall 7 floor storey building “Cheateu de Elizabeth” of Mang Milo.
These shots were taken from the inside of Chinese Cemetery (notice the second shot, a few “butas bata nitso” were captured), as I have said in one of my articles that our house is around 100 meters away or just 15-20 steps from the gates of Chinese Cemetery.
Sarap Tumambay nito sa November 1, kita mo lahat ng mga nasa sementeryo! kasama na pati multo.
After a few months time, the difference would be seen.
