This is somehow a rant rather than something useful, but still you may consider it one. Okay so this is pointed to those pedestrians who use the pedestrian lanes improperly. Yeah, as a driver, I do respect those people who use the pedestrian lanes rather than those who jaywalk, specially on major roads and highways. But please, if you are one of those pedestrians, make sure that you also follow the pedestrian set of rules when using pedestrian lanes. I am mentioning the lanes that are rather placed under the stoplights. Yung iba kasi, they use the pedestrian lane na as if they own that lane. Its much like whenever they are stepping on that lane, its as if they rule the whole world, na it won't matter how slow you cross that lane, you cannot be hit by any incoming cars, as if there is a barrier or anything. But to tell you the truth, some drivers would like to hit you and run away, kasi madalas sinasadya niyo eh, specially those pedestrian lanes located at stoplights. Couldn't you see that there is a pedestrian stoplight for you? Why not use it and save yourself from all the hassle, expenses and whatnot. . Next time, don't be stupid, ...

I wasn't sure if it was already there last time, but surely this time, I am sure that I already have noticed it. At first I thought it was supposed to be some Christmas lights as what others have also thought so, but I was surprised these thing made my life a lot more easier. This just made me burst into laughter, I was wondering if this would happen here in our country specially in the busy streets of manila... It was around October 2007 then, when I was at the peak of my review for my nursing licensure exam at the Pentagon Review Center, but the venue was at the UE Auditorium. I parked right infront of UE along recto, and to my surprise, our reviewer, Sir Jerome Balisnomo aka Goldie just announced that a car was being towed. He described it and then announced the plate number. I literally jumped off my chair to chase the MTPB who towed my car. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything but a letter with a map on where to redeem my precious car. I left home at around 5:00 PM, I was kind of a bit lazy that time to get myself ready, I was like dragging my feet, but hell, it was nuffnang's first so it doesn't matter, I was determined to go. I was traversing the road from National Teachers College along Padre Casal St. down to the intersection in Taft Avenue here in Manila, and I was having a hard time maneuvering. Why? Well it is because I was trailing behind a container van. Well what about it? It would have been just fine trailing this container van, but the problem is, the van's contents are spilling all over the place! The bad thing about that is, its contents are White Paint! And it seems that the driver and his subordinates have no idea that the contents of their container vans are spilling all over the place. Plus add to the fact that, Padre Casal's long road is under "Gold Mining Exploration" courtesy of the MMDA, so the said truck was switching lanes from time to time leaving the motorists behind him no choice but to roll over the paint on the pavement. The worst thing there is I am just 1 to 2 cars away from the truck. October 25th 2008 is the big day! Hay 2 Grand EB na ang lumalampas sa akin, at maraming mini-eb na ang napalipas ko! Its either I was way busy back then since may classes pa nung college days, or either there have been other planned na lakad or sometimes napakalayo ng mga venues. This time the venue is within reach, this time wala nang college classes, but still there is something, it's my girlfriend's birthday, so I think baka mapadaan lang ako sa venue, which is on THE HOBBIES MALL at Macapagal.
