Back then I never knew that these tools exist. So what I always do when checking how long a blog is, is to look at its archives and check for the oldest entry on their blogs. That was how I check for the age of a particular blog page. But I was having some limitations with my method since not all blogs show their archive pages, and not all sites are blogs. Even a whois cant help you since whois only shows the duration a domain name's availability and not the time since it was first registered. After some googling, the big G pointed me to five different tools that can help me determine a domain name's page. They may not be accurate against each other's results but somehow it may give you an idea of how old a domain name is. This does often hit me whenever I am not at home, most often than not ideas just come rushing into my mind whenever I am off the computer. I know I am not the only on experiencing this and I know many people know how to blog without internet access right? Of course with the use of the handy dandy pen and paper! . Oh well, since I live in a techie era then my vote goes for a much more techie approach, with the use of my own phone. It would be hassle if I would be bringing around a pen and a pad all the time that I am on the road. Since my phone has plenty of add-ons that most users ignore, then why not put it to good use right? That add-on is the "notes" application on a symbian powered mobile phone or any other mobile phone OS for that matter, or for a much accessible feature then the "drafts" is also a good place to take down notes on potential topics that can be blogged about when I get online. I have been trying to find ways to increase my feed subscribers. I know that my blog has only been up for quite sometime but I'm glad that I have had progress. Sure, there is always room for improvement and from my side, I think there are still things that I need to do to increase my feed subscribers. There are quite some things that I can and cannot control to increase my RSS subscribers. Been Barely a few days since I have upgraded to wordpress 2.7 beta. I liked everything so far except for two things. First The recent comments that is located on the dashboard has the quick one click function for unapproved, edit, quick edit, reply, spam, delete. It is convenient right? Except for the delete button. I have accidentally deleted 2 comments already, I think they should put a warning or some kind of confirmation for the deletion, or they could have had a recycle bin like place for deleted comments, so if ever someone accidentally deletes a comment, it can be easily retrieved. Second The publish post time duration was a lot more longer than when it was in 2.6, even though the page is still loading you would already see the published page on your site, it is still imperative to have the published post confirmation to display as quick as it shows on the site. So far those were the only things that annoy me in the beta stage of Wordpress 2.7, anyway, the official version would be available before November ends so I think I can live up with it for a while now. I knew it, its been a week now and Globe wireless broadband is sick again. Tsk tsk tsk, symptoms of selective browsing and slow loading are manifesting yet again after around 2 months of flawless internet connectivity. I have seen a couple of people from different forums are complaining about the crappy connection. From where I am standing, i experience slowdowns at certain times for around 6 days already. I tried reverting back the original settings, making the dns value of my zte mf600 set to auto, but the connection came worst. Good thing, Open DNS helps decrease the crappy connection of my internet, since calling the customer support representatives of Globe Innove is the last thing that I want to do. If there are any globe wireless broadband users out there that are experiencing the selective browsing syndrome, then why not try to change your zte mf600's DNS to manual and enter the following IP address. If you don't want to use the Open DNS values, you can use another Globe Broadband DNS value.
