NTC has finally done something atleast to alleviate the concerns of the people here in the Philippines regarding the "Mysterious Prepaid Load". Well I know that it is not enough. But for real? does it really need to take at least a senator or someone who have powers before the people who should be doing the right thing act? I know that NTC is already aware of this even before Senator Enrile complained, don't be dumb NTC, we mobile phone subscribers know that this problem has already existed for years already, but you had not acted upon this problem even before the early days the complaints come rushing in. Now since the Mysterious Prepaid Load Disappearance has been taken care of, we, Internet Service Subscribers know that you should also be doing something to make Internet service Providers provide a fair use of the internet services offered here in the Philippines, or does it also take someone in the position, like Enrile, for you to act upon it??? Its been 11 days since my last post, and I was a furious about the internet service that Globe Wireless Broadband just gave me. I mean 11 days of no internet! Others thought that I have already left my blog to rot down just like any other blog, but hell no, I love blogging and I would be blogging as long as I live. Anyway, I have been down and out for the past week because the Globelines cellsite here in our area in Sta. Cruz was broken.  I was a bit satisfied the first time I called Globe’s CSR because the Tech Support Guy from Globe arrived at home the same day that I complained, but I was at awe since I was forced to wait for a couple of days until my internet service was back once again, the hard part about it was that I have no idea when the service would be back once again. Tormenting and whatnot, I was about to lose patience until it was fixed today. Damn Globelines Broadband! I have received a rumor that the Philippine Bar Exam Results Release Date is scheduled to be released on April 3, 2009. I do not have any confirmed information that will prove the rumor, but what I can say is that the email I received came from a reliable source. This is somehow a rant rather than something useful, but still you may consider it one. Okay so this is pointed to those pedestrians who use the pedestrian lanes improperly. Yeah, as a driver, I do respect those people who use the pedestrian lanes rather than those who jaywalk, specially on major roads and highways. But please, if you are one of those pedestrians, make sure that you also follow the pedestrian set of rules when using pedestrian lanes. I am mentioning the lanes that are rather placed under the stoplights. Yung iba kasi, they use the pedestrian lane na as if they own that lane. Its much like whenever they are stepping on that lane, its as if they rule the whole world, na it won't matter how slow you cross that lane, you cannot be hit by any incoming cars, as if there is a barrier or anything. But to tell you the truth, some drivers would like to hit you and run away, kasi madalas sinasadya niyo eh, specially those pedestrian lanes located at stoplights. Couldn't you see that there is a pedestrian stoplight for you? Why not use it and save yourself from all the hassle, expenses and whatnot. . Next time, don't be stupid, ...

I thought the war over this virus has already ended. Yeah I'm talking about that virus slash worm that redirects you to a phishing site that scans for the cookies saved on your browser, therefore rendering your personal information at risk. The last time I received something like this was like around last year, errr I mean last 2 weeks ago, so yeah right, last year *LOL* I was even amazed by the tactic, I was even expecting some more but none came. I thought the Friendster team already did something to remove that comment virus / worm that redirects to a phishing site. Then today I was bombarded with around 5 of those comment virus / worm, the good thing about it was that I have my comments on moderation mode so those comments did not even had the chance to be shown on thru my profile page on Friendster. From my honest opinion, the only thing to prevent your information from being phished out is to be vigilant at all times, internet can be a very useful and friendly tool for you to use, but once you make a mistake, it can become one of your worst enemy. We know many are aiming for the Sony Vaio laptop that is being given away by Nuffnang Philippines but in order to be qualified, one must make a blog post about their experience last December 5-7 regarding the Sony Expo 2008 event. But because of the glamorous prize, the contest was prone to abuse. A fellow blogger was also aware of this. Actually the original deadline of the contest was last December 15, 2008,  I was planning to post my entry around a day before the contest, but days before the deadline, Nuffnang moved the deadline to December 19, 2008. Buti na lang at hindi ko pa naipost yung entry ko since I know that there are a few "hoppers" out there who are trying to get an idea on other entries to gain an advantage. This just made me burst into laughter, I was wondering if this would happen here in our country specially in the busy streets of manila... As of the present time, blogs and bloggers aren't recognized as something or not even someone, as far as Pinoy Bloggers are concerned. Well people who don't diverge and never believes on the power of the online world media never truly knows the real power a blog can harness. BLOGGER!? DUH!?
