Its been around a week already since the official launch of Windows 7, but as far as Windows 7 in Philippines is concerned, the target launch would be a week from now, November 7, 2009. . Luckily I snagged one copy of Windows 7 Ultimate thanks to PC Corner. I was never expecting that they would be able to have a copy of it as early as now. Actually, out of all the computer shops that I have talked to in SM Manila, only PC Corner had that Windows 7 Ultimate and its their only one and only copy that they have got, so lucky! hehe. I asked the saleslady when they had got that copy of Windows 7 and she told me that it was there that same day. So lucky since I just cant wait until November 7, 2009. It cost me 10K PHP for that Retail Copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, though I don't know if it would cost me cheaper on the launch date or not but what Im sure about is that . Well it wont matter anymore, I think Im gonna be going to jump the bandwagon already from Windows Vista to Windows 7 in just a week ...

I got my new toy last week a day before my Greenlantern Server on Dreamhost bugged down. And since my hosting was down for a week, I was able to stress test this new MSI EX460 that I forcefully got (Yeah, Forced, Unplanned) since my brother needed a new Laptop so I gave him the MSI Megabook VR-K320 that I was using and decided the next day to buy a new one. I got this new Toy of mine and never did I regret it. the specs and and all was just so enough for me, enough for blogging, enough for gaming and enough for everything that I wanted to do like watching HD Videos, I do note that there are already many NetBooks (10 inchers) out there which are much cheaper but I cannot sacrifice scrolling forever and ever up and down and side to side specially that I use computers most of my time. Some of my friends thought I gave up on blogging since it was a while since my Dreamhost Greenlantern Server was down and out, well quitting from blogging would be the last thing on my mind, Blogging is my comfort zone, and no one can stop me from doing it. I thought I was also one of the unfortunate ones who have already lost their files for good, good thing I was able to ask for some assistance and my files were back in no time. . . By the way, I was traumatized about what happened on Greenlantern Server that I have already said to myself that I should do get some backups more frequently, and if you are also someone who is lazy to do some backups then I think its time for you to rethink. If you don't know how to do backups then I think its now time for you to learn how to or else you would suffer in the long run. Never depend on your hosting to do the backup for you, since you should be the one doing it in the first place. Just opened up my Google Reader today and was curious about one of  the new entries that posted from the Ratified.org Blog. My curiosity grew because ratified only updates their blog once in a while, and most of which are worth something to read on. A few months back, I had my PayPal account suspended because someone tried to hack in and use it, that is why I temporarily stopped using PayPal, besides I still haven't got my UnionBank EON Account linked with it. After a few more months, I applied for a UnionBank Eon and I was well ready to sign up, got all the documents needed and such when all of a sudden, the banker told us (me and phia) that UnionBank needs at least one of the following: TIN ID SSS ID Well, I did not have any at that time since it was not indicated that at least one of those I mentioned were needed. So it took me a week or two to get the SSS ID which I thought was so hard to get, well yeah the only hard part on getting my SSS ID was that I was passed on from one SSS Office to another since they only process SSS ID on the branch nearest your address. So, in short if you are planning to get an EON Card in the near future and you still haven't got any of those two mentioned, well your best bet is to get one ...

I recently customized a Plurk Layout for my girlfriend which is a Boys Over Flowers inspired Plurk theme. I just thought that customizing a Plurk Layout would'nt be so much hard as it seems. Well all you need is some fancy pics that would suit the theme and a little bit of imagination. Now, Phia would always be inspired to plurk more since here timeline displays Gu Jun Pyo of Boys Over Flowers. Thanks to one of my regular readers here for the heads up on the new IP address that Globe Wireless Broadband has made. I for the past 3 days, I was able to observe the connection when getting the 203.177.91.161 IP address from Globe Wireless Broadband. So far it is as stable as the 203.177.91.252 IP address, I was just a bit wondering though, ever since I have used Globe's wireless broadband internet, I have encountered 4 IP's already, 203.177.12.76, 203.177.91.252, 203.177.57.170 and the new on 203.177.91.161, but as of the moment I was not able to get two of the four IP address that Globe broadband wireless have. What does that mean? Did they remove the two other IP address already? Will the new IP address made by Globe/Innove benefit others? Will this be a sign that there are more and more wireless broadband users subscribing to Globe hence the expansion of a new IP address? or just a quick fix for their shortcomings on some wireless broadband users? We'll see in a matter of weeks... What about your internet connection? Before then, I do have that little blue button something from topblogs.com.ph, but that was waaaaaaaayy back before I knew a thing in the blogosphere other than posting and posting and posting... But much to my surprise though, I have proved at some point that topblogs.com.ph has "few" controversies at hand to prove that they are less-glitch free with their system (was that even a crrect term?). But one of my main reasons was because of the "nofollow" case, plus many other cases of glitch in their system like the "cheater" in this topblogs.com.ph ranking system. Some new bloggers may not know him and some few long time bloggers may also not know him, but for my point of view, I am down with that cheater, that just means na nagiisip talaga siya, and magaling siya because he tried it, and it worked. Christine's latest video was about Facebook and the Fever it brings on users signing up on it... But unfortunately though, I don't have any facebook account... Yeah, "I'm a whatever Yaya" because of that right? but still, I dont have the urge and don't have any strong reason to have one. Its not that I'm so well off when it comes to online stuffs, its just that I don't find any reason at all. Im like what? another social networking site to maintain? Im enough to have Friendster, and its just that. But still I did understand what Christine points out in her recent video. For the blogging community though, an equivalent of this "stalker mode" is Yahoo's Mybloglog, wherein mybloglog follows you around from one blog to another and broadcasting what you have just done on that "someones" blog, whether you have dugg a post, left a comment and whatnot.
