Finally after months and months of enduring the dreaded Globe Wireless Broadband's IP Addresses, they are now showing signs of expansion, from the additional new IP's last 2 months, there were now again 2 new IP's added these week. The 2 new IP addresses were 120.28.8.17 and 120.28.8.19, good to know that they are now already expanding their Proxy server sided IP address with newer ones since there have been many new Globe Wireless broadband users who were choking out on their congested old IP Addresses. Thanks to Rayven, one of the active visitors here in my blog for the heads up, and as of the moment the latest update that I heard from rayven was there was another new IP address that has been implemented (120.28.8.17) He was asking for feedback regarding the new IP address but unfortunately, I stil havent got the chance to get that certain IP address, but for the other IP address (120.28.8.19) I was able to benchmark it with the speeds more than the plan the wireless broadband users have signed up for. Its been barely a month ago since I posted some Solutions for my Captcha problems regarding Mozilla's last unstable update on its Firefox 3. I have posted some bit far fetched solutions for the captcha problem that it has been experiencing lately. Gladly after enduring more than a month of rocky surfing experience using Firefox 3, its temporary problems like browser crashes, unreadable captcha, laggy surfing has been resolved by a patch that was applied yesterday. So the solution for the unreadable captcha of Firefox 3 is to download its latest patch 3.0.6 But, if you still want to try other browsers, some of my recommended web browsers are Opera and Google Chrome. Internet Explorer is out of the question here already since its decline in user share on the Web browser war has been on a streak for more than 12 months. So there you go, I have yet to observe if this new patch for Firefox 3 has already solved the browser crashes that has been happening since the last patch. Thanks to one of my regular readers here for the heads up on the new IP address that Globe Wireless Broadband has made. I for the past 3 days, I was able to observe the connection when getting the 203.177.91.161 IP address from Globe Wireless Broadband. So far it is as stable as the 203.177.91.252 IP address, I was just a bit wondering though, ever since I have used Globe's wireless broadband internet, I have encountered 4 IP's already, 203.177.12.76, 203.177.91.252, 203.177.57.170 and the new on 203.177.91.161, but as of the moment I was not able to get two of the four IP address that Globe broadband wireless have. What does that mean? Did they remove the two other IP address already? Will the new IP address made by Globe/Innove benefit others? Will this be a sign that there are more and more wireless broadband users subscribing to Globe hence the expansion of a new IP address? or just a quick fix for their shortcomings on some wireless broadband users? We'll see in a matter of weeks... What about your internet connection? I was alarmed about Dexter's post regarding Lycos Mail shutting down, since I myself is a Lycos mail user for around 8 years already, it is my main mail and most of my subscriptions and my bits-and-pieces on the worldwide web are still connected to that mail. So if ever I would need to retrieve a forgotten password then that is where the forgotten password would go to. I quickly checked my mail if there are any messages that I might have missed and suprisingly not a single mail about the announcement was there. So I did my job to try and research about the announcement, and after a few google search power, I was relieved. There was indeed a confirmation about the shutting down of Lycos mail services along with Tripod but it is only limited to Europe users. So, I think I might send this corrections out to dexter's post regarding the shutting down of Lycos mail. It may not be a big deal for everyone, since most Pinoy users have either Yahoo Mail or Google Mail rather than Lycos Mail but still there are plenty of Pinoys out there that uses Lycos as their mailing service.
