Me too, I was wondering if Wi-Tribe signals are now available in some major provinces already or would it still be limited to Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Cavite in the South and Bulacan in the North. After 2 years on my old Globe Wireless Broadband 3G account, I was offered to have my connection upgraded from 3G to 4G with the new Globe Wi-Max which Globe is boasting about nowadays... I agreed with the upgrade as I see that it really needed it since after I replaced my old and broken ZTE MF600 which Globe gave me when I first applied for their broadband service. Its been 3 days already, and so far its good. I also had my connection upgraded too from 512 to 1mbps since my old plan is on the 995 tier. Connection wise, well basing it on a "3 day hump" its good, with a newer 4G Wimax connectivity Im expecting a bit more though I got a bit disappointed since even on 4G it still cannot be used for online gaming for Playstation 3 compared to my Wi-Tribe Internet which is also on the same 4G band which can let me seamlessly play PS3 games online without any problems at all. No, Im not talking about having a phone that has Wi-Fi capability then going to a mall that has free wi-fi for everyone, then accessing Facebook, no not that kind of thing. I didn't know when this came up or whether Globe Wireless Broadband has already rolled out some new IP addresses for quite sometime now, but this is the first time in like a year since they added new IP Addresses since the last time that I noticed new IP addresses for Globe Wireless Broadband users was almost a year ago. By the way the new IP Address that I have got is 124.6.152.220 and I dont know if this has other IP Blocks in the same range as the old ones that uses the 120.28.8.XX like 120.28.8.20, 120.28.8.22, 120.28.8.17 etc...and I have yet to find out whether this new IP for Globe Wireless users are faster than the former ones. I would observe for a few days first if this new IP Address block would outperform other old IP addresses of Globe Wireless Broadband or not. After making a post regarding my need of a new Globe Wireless Broadband ZTE MF600, I have finally found a new replacement which was also used by new Globe Wireless Broadband users nowadays. No, its not a ZTE MF600, but a Brand New Huawei B933 Modem/Router. Its a smaller modem compared to the ZTE MF600 and it is a lot more lighter since it does not have any portable battery with it, and that means it won't function at all if it isn't plugged. Im in dire need to replace my ZTE MF600 which has already served me well for 1 and a half years. After sometime, my ZTE MF600 has been showing signs and symptoms of old age and wear and tear. If ever you happen to have one, specially if you are a former Globe Wireless Broadband user and you still have the Globe Wireless ZTE MF600 with you, kept somewhere safe and your modem is still working at par, I am more than honored to buy that ZTE MF600 modem of yours. Mine had been experiencing problems, its been having a hard time initializing which is why now I am not turning it off, ever, or else I might not be able to revive it again after reviving it for half a day the last time it was turned off. Been using Globe Wireless Broadband for almost a year already, and sad to say but I am not getting that much satisfied with their Internet service that is why I am itching for another ISP provider. I'm not saying that I would have my Globe Wireless Broadband terminated by next month or so since I am already out of their lock-in period by August 2009.
