I was alarmed about Dexter's post regarding Lycos Mail shutting down, since I myself is a Lycos mail user for around 8 years already, it is my main mail and most of my subscriptions and my bits-and-pieces on the worldwide web are still connected to that mail. So if ever I would need to retrieve a forgotten password then that is where the forgotten password would go to. I quickly checked my mail if there are any messages that I might have missed and suprisingly not a single mail about the announcement was there. So I did my job to try and research about the announcement, and after a few google search power, I was relieved. There was indeed a confirmation about the shutting down of Lycos mail services along with Tripod but it is only limited to Europe users. So, I think I might send this corrections out to dexter's post regarding the shutting down of Lycos mail. It may not be a big deal for everyone, since most Pinoy users have either Yahoo Mail or Google Mail rather than Lycos Mail but still there are plenty of Pinoys out there that uses Lycos as their mailing service. And oh yeah, I also do use Yahoo ...
