It has been around 4 months already since I have been complaining of my globe load credits being eaten. Since then I have been dumbfounded about the reason why my load magically disappears overnight and is always simultaneous with my Globe unlitxt or sulitxt expiration time. And I just found it out, with some keen observation and some curious questions, I was able to find out the culprit that had been so starved to death that even my globe load was being eaten every night. A friend who also has some e-loading business asked my why I just load 20 PHP per day everyday instead of loading a hundred which would suffice me for five days and I told him the reason, and then all he told me was there was no problem regarding Globe's network but there were only a few shortcomings that Globe never did which was to inform their users that their load credit expiration was now strict to the time duration. I was never fond of reading "spam" text messages, or love quotes and whatnot, unless its a "banat" text which was circulating nowadays. This morning though, I accidentally opened a message from Globe which says that they are already serving P.075 per text message in exchange for ads and coupons from AdTxt. .. . I was thinking, arent they satisfied with the spam ad text messages that they were sending us everyday?  I mean, most typical pinoy mobile phone users are used to this, but still most of them like to open and read these kinds of messages. *lalo na yung mga taong walang katxt and madalang makatanggap ng text* . Another thing that came up to my mind was the same kind of strategy uMobile tried to pull off which eventually became a flop much because to its "invitation only" feature. It then gave way to the new Red Mobile which was said to be a counterpart for Sun Cell minus the AdTxt Feature. The announcement somehow had a loophole from what I have observed. Christine's latest video was about Facebook and the Fever it brings on users signing up on it... But unfortunately though, I don't have any facebook account... Yeah, "I'm a whatever Yaya" because of that right? but still, I dont have the urge and don't have any strong reason to have one. Its not that I'm so well off when it comes to online stuffs, its just that I don't find any reason at all. Im like what? another social networking site to maintain? Im enough to have Friendster, and its just that. But still I did understand what Christine points out in her recent video. For the blogging community though, an equivalent of this "stalker mode" is Yahoo's Mybloglog, wherein mybloglog follows you around from one blog to another and broadcasting what you have just done on that "someones" blog, whether you have dugg a post, left a comment and whatnot. What the hell is going on? isn't it that mas kailangan ng globe users yung unlitxt sa Holidays?? Hmm, but still there are some users who are still able to register to unlitxt up until now, as far as I know, mautak na sila, ginawa na nilang five days, just to be sure that they would be able to greet everyone "Merry Christmas" at Christmas Eve. What about the unlimited calls at nyt or what they call unyt or the 20 mins. per 20 peso calls? Will they also be suspended? If they were then sus maria! maligayang pasko na lang sa mga globe users kung ganun! The traditional greeting cards have always been there. Then the advent of electronic greeting cards arrived when internet was starting to boom. Good thing about those e-cards was that it can be personalized. Usong uso ito nuong panahon na ang price ng internet sa shops is 30 to 50 pesos an hour. Then from what I have observed, it dwindled down. As far as I can remember, the last time that I was able to receive such kind of greeting card was around 8 years ago or so. Then these new way of sending greeting cards arrived. Since marami na ang nag-you youtube, then why not use youtube to its fullest by being able to send greeting cards through the use of personalized videos. Its customizable, with various themes and animations to include from, plus of course, its free. I think these feature from youtube was implemented last holiday season, I am just not sure though if it would be like that again, available lang kapag malapit na ang pasko. It's been months since I have been anticipating for a free invite for uMobile. I even had contacted some people who have already got their uMobile sim card, but to my surprise, when I tried to check out their site I found this: Also a coincidence then, I have been seeing the tagline advertisement "Sulit nga ba ang Unlimited?" which is from the commercial of Red Mobile. Out of curiosity, I tried to look for info about this new product that would be launching and to my surprise, the telecommunication company that I have been anticipating has now been changed to a new one, hence, Umobile To Red Mobile. Yuga has also have some insider information on why the transition happened. But as for me, I think the anticipation for uMobile has faded away, and I am not sure yet if I will be going to try the Red Mobile, not unless they release their information about the features they have and perks they will give. After a 3 day hump, Friendster was back! And most pinoy internet users were happy about the outcome, it seems that Filipinos really do rely on the power of social networking to communicate with others, specially with Friendster. Well, not just casual internet surfers were happy, but internet shop owners too. They said that they have a decreased number in customers for the past 3 days that Friendster was down. There were moments like "kuya may Friendster na po ba?" and would just go out of the shop because Friendster is still down. While some internet shop owners were happy not because the normalized number of customers were back, but because frequent "chikababes" customers were back again on their own shops. Hmmm, I smell a maniac! Haha! But may it be shop owners, customers or people who have their own internet at home, everyone was happy enough because their Friendster addiction was fed again. When Yahoo Messenger officially released its 9.0 version (after the 9.0 beta), the interface has changed and updated a little bit. An example would be the interchangeable colors.
