Weee... Its been a while since I have been back into blogger events, and oh sure it was a good event indeed though there were only a few of us who managed to attend the said event. . . But of course, I managed to meet some new friends from the blogosphere and plurkospshere. Though the event was small, I know that it was awesome, I mean, the food was overflowing! We were not able to eat all of the stuff that was presented to us. By the way this is the first time I have covered a food blog event... Now Im  thinking of building myself another blog.. A food blog!! The food tenants who served us bloggers were Lot's A Pizza Master Siomai Kuya's Lumpiang Sariwa Binalot Inihaw Express Lydia's Lechon Pretty much everything tasted so good that we were so full even before the food were all consumed. I know backing up files might sound tedious at times because of the size it has after some time. What more if your dont just have one blog to backup but more? I know that with a big number of blogs you might think it would take around 500mb or more but guess what its possible to reduce it to around 50mb and below and fortunately I have managed to do just that. How do I do that? All I did was to host my photos on image hosting services such as Photobucket, Imageshack, Flickr and the like instead of uploading it on to my site and then just hotlinking it to my blog. That alone can help you save large amount of hosting space. If I would be sharing files like docs, pdf, txtfiles, media files and the like then I would use an online storage space or file sharing sites like Fileden, and host my files there. Simple as that. Doing just that could fairly help you reduce file size that you would need to backup in the long run. Workers get slacked off and whatnot, but still it is not a reason to lose hope, there are still many ways to earn money during the recession, you would just need to know where to look. After a month, I have noticed quite a large decline on the profit that I get through my blogs. I used to average around 2 - 3 dollars a day but now its barely around $1 a day, but still a dollar is a dollar. I am happy still since I have already reached my target of $100 in around 4-5 months, which is a very good sign, since I was expecting to hit that mark for around 6-12 months. Still the question is, would bloggers get affected with the recession that the world is experiencing right now? Big names and big companies have already fallen apart and crumbled down. Hundreds of thousands are expected to get sacked and some would stay jobless, but are bloggers affected with this kind of crisis? I dont think so, as long as there is internet, there would be internet users, and as long as internet users are there then profits would not decline to say the least. This is indeed a very helpful add-on to the ever powerful wordpress platform, specially to those beginners who are still trying to cope up with every bit of wordpress jargons that they encounter on their everyday learning. Before then, I do have that little blue button something from topblogs.com.ph, but that was waaaaaaaayy back before I knew a thing in the blogosphere other than posting and posting and posting... But much to my surprise though, I have proved at some point that topblogs.com.ph has "few" controversies at hand to prove that they are less-glitch free with their system (was that even a crrect term?). But one of my main reasons was because of the "nofollow" case, plus many other cases of glitch in their system like the "cheater" in this topblogs.com.ph ranking system. Some new bloggers may not know him and some few long time bloggers may also not know him, but for my point of view, I am down with that cheater, that just means na nagiisip talaga siya, and magaling siya because he tried it, and it worked.
