Its been barely 2 months since I have started a paid hosting blog, courtesy of eweb.com.ph, and so far, I haven’t had any hard time with their service. Just a while ago I was having problems logging on thru my cpanel and I immediately noted the about the problem. Just after around 30 minutes or so, they have resolved my problem and I was also surprised that they were even calling me, to confirm regarding the problem.
No, I you were thinking that this is a paid review, well right now I am telling you that it is not, not ever, matter of fact, I am even endorsing them on my own will, no strings attached. Well, maybe it is because I was just impressed on how eweb handles their client’s problems, I have many submitted tickets to them, and all of those tickets were answered successfully.
Another thing that I liked was their cheap Domain Name Registration. Well as for my list of Pinoy Web Hosts, they were the one who had the cheapest. For only 450.00 PHP you can have a top level domain registered in no time! Well that is what I can call cheap Domain Registration.
Regarding their uptime, well, as for the 2 months that I have been under eweb, I can say that there had not been any problems with their uptime, I can’t say that their uptime is perfect, because no hosting is. No matter where you are hosted, there would always be times that a host is down and eweb is not exempted from that, so what we can measure is how often a server has their downtime, and from where I am standing, I can say that for the 2 months that I have been on eweb, I have experienced a downtime once, for around 5 to 10 minutes, but that problem was immediately solved.
What really makes me want to stay with eweb is that, they are Pinoys on the net, trying to provide a cheap web hosting. So what if they are Pinoys? Well it is because, it is easier to contact them, if ever you would encounter problems and you cannot mail them then you can even send them a sms and they would be able to attend to your problems right away!
Their hosting plans may not be that much for other people, specially for those who are consuming more bandwidth and space, but for people like me who are still starting out, well most often than not, the Easy plan of their hosting is just more than enough.

my site is also eweb-hosted, and i’ve been with them for several months already and have not experienced a downtime UNTIL NOW (which is why I ended up here in the first place. hehe). i trust that they will have that fixed. why, even their own website seems down. >.<

Don’t worry it wont be that complicated as what you think it is. That was how i thought before when I was starting out. Good thing is that when you would have problems or if you are getting confused you can ask the admin of the domain registrar where you bought your domain name.
But remember that it depends on every domain registrars out there. On eweb.com.ph I get full support, if I want to get an answer they are just a text away, or if you have a long concern, you can email them and they will answer your queries the next day or even the same day.
I dont know though to other domain registrars out there. Plus you can also ask for help from other bloggers if you are really getting confused.

Hi James, thank you for sharing this. Hmmm, I want to have my own domain too but I think it will be complicated in terms of upkeep. Minsan kasi I’m too lazy to go check my blog daily. Another thing is I’m totally clueless with some HTML tweaking and needs to learn the ropes of it first…
But I checked out eweb.com.ph and they’re cheap!
