A Day At The Sony Expo 2008

I never knew that I would be back so soon, the last time that I was at SMX Convention was just around 8 months back when I was taking my oath as a Nurse.
Then came December 2008, the rave on Sony products was on, but I was not expecting to be a part of it. I joined the contest “My First Sony Experience” and I did not know that I would be chosen to be one of the 50 Bloggers who would get a VIP invite!
Soon as I got the confirmation email that I was one of the 50 VIP’s, I was like “WHOA“, I was so excited about it, that I even literally joked about having the VIP invite to be laminated to Ms. Roanna.
I arrived around 12 to 1 PM, I was with my girlfriend that time and we were at “awe” when we entered the SMX Hall.
There were many people from the outside registering as you would be getting a glimpse of what you are about to see while you’re at it.
I was greeted by Ms. Roanna and was advised to register first before entering, and then another problem came!!
I asked “Bakit ganun, nung nag press ako ng [Register] ang sabi “Already Registered“, ganun ba talaga yun?”
Roro said that they will be going to take care of it. Hala! Did someone register under my name to get a VIP Invite?? Tsk.. tsk.. tsk.., privacy in the internet is really not happening at times, imagine that “someone” knew my complete details! Whaaa!
But anyways, it was not time to rant but to enjoy about what’s ahead. Soon as we entered the Sony Gadgets hall, I was greeted with the Sony Gadgets waiting to be tinkered! Oh yeah!
Gadgets Galore it is!!
Cameras, Phones, Laptops, TVs, hmm where is the Sony Playstation! Waah! But it doesn’t matter since Sony Vaio Laptops suffice the gadget drooling that I have been having. Free food, of course for VIP’s only, Free Wifi!! Weee, Free Pictures ready to be printed out thru Bluetooth, everything is free! I wish the world was like that!
My favorite part of the Sony Expo 2008 event was of course, the announcement of the winner for the “My First Sony Experience” entry. I was one of the 50 chosen bloggers so I had a chance for that Sony T700 plus with that award being given by KC Concepcion was indeed priceless.
But that was what I thought so, I was not called, huhu, it felt like all the excitement just exited my whole system. The lesson that I have been teaching myself all the time just hit me again… Never to expect too much!
Who cares! I was just thinking positive that is why you cannot avoid expecting too much besides there is still the Sony Expo post event contest, I am still going to grab that chance! I may be picking myself in pieces but still I am determined to win the Sony Post Event contest.
I may not win again, but I am going to make sure that I would be tightening up the competition.
But Thanks anyway to Sony and Nuffnang Philippines for such a memorable event.
.
.
Yeah I know you have been looking for the pictures, Am I right?? Since creativity and innovativeness are the criteria along with the Photos with each of the 8 breakthrough technologies, well here is what I have been working on. I’m giving it my best shot here.
Hope that I would just not be making Sony and Nuffnang Swoon but also the potential readers of my “A Day at Sony Expo 2008” entry. [haha nagfifeeling nanaman ako, eh wala naman akong readers hehe]
Let’s level up the playing field!
You need to have flash player installed and need to allow the flash to load. Enjoy!
